Acting for the Stage & Screen for YOUTH ages 7 – 11 (session 1 of 7)

Come explore the world of theatre through this fun and exciting 7-week class series.  Kids 7 – 11 years of age will enjoy action-packed theatre games, learn the foundation of acting, and grow in confidence as they learn how to express themselves in this safe and nurturing environment.  Students will enjoy working with a script and will feature their work at our class showcase on November 21.

We are excited to have Joylene Scott teaching “Acting for Stage and Screen” here at Class with a Glass.  Many of her students have gone to Theatre Schools across the country, and several are currently pursuing professional careers.   Her students have appeared in national commercials, weekly tv series, movies, and voiceovers for television and radio.  Joylene is a seasoned performer, director, and producer who teaches with humor and sensitivity, challenging and stretching students just enough to make the right impact. Students will leave Joylene’s classes feeling a greater sense of self, an increased awareness of the Arts, and develop skills that will benefit them for a lifetime.  Whether your child wants to become a professional or simply enjoy the Arts, Joylene’s classes will provide a nurturing environment for all students to grow in.  As a Master Teacher, Joylene has a wonderful way of connecting with each student to match their unique learning style.  She loves to help her student grow in confidence as they learn in a fun-loving environment.
